Terms & Conditions


When you receive an order confirmation from me your purchase order is accepted and a purchase agreement is entered into. I encourage you to save the order confirmation for any future contacts with me. I may deny a purchase order for various reasons, for example if you provide incorrect personal data and/or have a record for non-payment of debt.


You may withdraw your order until it has been confirmed by me. I will then refund any payment that you, or your pay- or credit card company, have made for the order.


I may cancel an order if the products ordered are sold out. I will then refund any amount paid and notify you about equivalent products if such are available.


All products ordered remain my property until I have received full payment for them.


I have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of my paintings that appear on this website. However, I cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour and tone of the real thing.


All information provided is approximate and is provided in good faith.


By placing an order with me and paying for your goods you agree to and accept these terms & conditions.



You can use my website to place an order by selecting the product you wish to buy and adding it to your cart. Items you do not require can be removed from your cart at any time. If you prefer to order by telephone or e-mail you can do so by calling +46 761 65 64 67 or e-mailing emma@artbyvo.com.


Shipping charges will be specified before you commit to buy anything. 


You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.


All prices quoted on my website are in Swedish Kronor and include Swedish Value Added Tax at the current rate. If you purchase from a country or territory that is not subject to Swedish VAT you may be able to claim that back once your goods are received. 


For non Swedish countries there may be charges for importing goods, even though art and antiquities are rated at zero (International HS code for paintings is: 970110). However, it is your responsibility to pay import duty if charged.


Once your order is complete I will notify you of the dispatch date (normally around 7-10 days after checkout)


You will be required to pay for the goods in full at the time of ordering.

Delivery time varies depending on how many paintings you wish to order.

I am not obliged to release a product until it has been paid for in full, so I wait for full payment before delivery. 


Before delivering the painting you will receive photographs of your custom made art. If you are not happy with the result we will discuss the changes and I will then, within reasonable time, make a new painting free of charge.


Your rights to return does not apply to custom made art. However, if you are not happy with the second painting and wish to cancel our contract you will be refunded 50% of the order value. I reserve the rights to sell the paintings you were not happy with, on my website or elsewhere.


Goods will normally be dispatched from my studio within 10-14 working days.


A carrier or shipping agent will normally deliver goods within 2-4 working days of dispatched for Sweden and 7-10 days for overseas shipments. In case of delay in delivery, I will inform you and continue to monitor the order. You may cancel the order if a delivery is delayed for more than 30 days and the delay is not due to you.


Depending on delivery method you may be required to pick up the order at a specific delivery point. You are required to do so within the time specified in the notification of delivery. If you do not pick up the delivery in time you may be charged a fee and the order may be sent back to me at your expense. I reserve the right to charge you an additional re-delivery charge. I may also cancel the order if the delivery is not picked up in time. I will not accept responsibility for loss or damage if you instruct the delivery company to leave the goods unattended. 


Disposal of package materials is your responsibility.


If you change the delivery address once the goods have been dispatched to you, I reserve the right to pass on any extra charges made by the carriers for redirecting your delivery. 


Please check the goods on delivery - any goods found to be damaged should be notified to the delivery driver at the time of delivery or to me within a reasonable time. If the goods are lost or damaged in transit, please document and photograph the damages and let me know promptly.


Sometimes, for reasons beyond mine or the courier’s control I may be prevented from delivering your goods. These might include things such as accidents, breakdowns, fire, flood, storm, severe weather, war, riot, civil commotion, malicious damage or the default of our suppliers.


You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail me. I am unable to accept cancellations by phone. 


You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help me to improve the service I offer to customers in the future. 


If you cancel, you must return the goods within 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging to me, at your expense. You are responsible for any damage incurred by items during the return shipment. I therefore strongly recommend that you send the products well packaged, in good condition and in their original box and/or packaging.


I will pay the amount to be refunded as soon as possible and within 14 days of the cancellation notification. I will however delay the payment until I have received the returned products.


Business customers, or customers exempt from the distance selling regulations may not cancel an order without our mutual agreement, this cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.

Instructions for returning goods

    •    If you wish to make a return, send me a message through Art by Vo containing your name, address, e-mail address, the order number and a specification of which items that the return relates to.

    •    Ship the items for return within 14 days of the date of the notification.

    •    You are responsible for any damage incurred by items during the return shipment. I therefore strongly recommend that you send the products well packaged, in good condition and in their original box and/or packaging.

    •    If possible, please provide me with a tracking number for the return shipment.

    •    If a returned item is shipped internationally, mark as "RETURNED GOODS" to avoid any Customs charges. I am not responsible for any charges imposed on packages returned by Customs.

    •    Unless otherwise agreed upon, the refund will be processed through the same payment method you used to make your original purchase.

    •     If you paid by invoice, I will need a bank account number to transfer the money back to.

    •    If the product is ruined or used the product shall not be refunded.

    •    If the product is lost or you, upon receiving, notice that the item has been damaged during transport, you should immediately report this to me.


Your right to return does not apply to contracts which:

    •    relate to a service which has been fully performed, if by placing the order you have consented to commencement of performance of the service and acknowledged that there would be no right to withdrawal after performance of the service;

    •    relate to goods or a service for which the price is dependent on fluctuations on the market which we cannot control and which may occur during the period between you receiving the withdrawn products and your notification to me of the withdrawal of the order;

    •    relate to goods which have been manufactured in accordance with your specifications or which otherwise are clearly personalised;

    •    relate to digital content which is supplied other than on a tangible medium, if you have expressly consented to delivery in such way and acknowledged that there would be no right to withdrawal.


If there is a problem with the goods please notify me by email, providing details of the problem. It is helpful if you can provide me with a digital photograph of the problem as this normally saves you having to return the good for inspection. I will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights.


If an exchange is necessary, this will be arranged without unreasonable delay and without charge. Replacements goods will not be dispatched until original goods have been received at my studio and checked. The cost of returning goods to me is your responsibility, however on inspection I will refund your reasonable postage costs, providing that the goods are found to be faulty. If the goods are not faulty, we will return them to you, however you will be required to cover our reasonable postage costs.



You are responsible that the personal data that you provide me with is correct and complete.


I do not share any personal information with any other parties. At no point will I use any collected information to solicit any kind of marketing or promotional offers, other than you have expressed consent for. No financial details are stored by Art by Vo.

You have the right to inspect the information held about you and you always have the right to request Art by Vo to delete or correct the information held about you. 


Visitor Analytics is a simple website analytics service which measures the traffic and visitors' general details of the customers' websites. Collecting these statistics, a website can make their visitors' experience better (e.g. which pages they visit and when, where they are approximately located, where does a user land first or if they are coming from a specific referral).

Basically, as a website owner using Visitor Analytics, we are using cookies to collect data about visitors' device type and screen size, approximate location, browser, OS, IPs, page visits, bounce rate, conversions and popular content on the website. All this data is pseudonymized and Visitor Analytics will never use the collected data to identify individual users or to match it with additional information on an individual user. Each visitor has control over the cookies placement.
